On the 20th of October, 2021, members of the HUT Foundation carried out a sensitization program at JIP Heritage Academy, Jikwoyi Abuja. The team was given access to 60 students ranging from primary 3, 4, and 5.

The Proprietress, Dr. (Mrs.) Joy Imaji, and the headteacher, Mrs. Blessing Uche, welcomed the team and directed them on how the sessions should be carried out.

The Foundation’s message of tolerance and celebration of our diversity was the focus of the visit. The students were given short educative lessons on the importance of being good citizens by looking out for one another and being non-discriminatory.

Members of the Hut Foundation also conducted an interactive session where the students were thought the difference between Empathy and Apathy along with vivid examples the students will find easy to remember and apply.
