It is our pleasure to run the COVID-Teachers project around the period teachers are celebrated all over the world for the tireless, selfless, and almost thankless job they do.
We all agree on the importance of access to a good education. This is intrinsic. Since the beginning of time, imparting knowledge and developing the human mind has persisted and it will continue to be so. Those who teach are an important part of any society that intends to progress further than they are at the moment.
Teachers do not only impart knowledge to their students but are also active moulders of a child’s perception of life. To treat as unimportant those who teach is to treat development at its foundational level as unimportant.
